The votes are in and it’s official: It was worth the wait for the all-new, redesigned 2018 Jeep Wrangler. Still rugged to its roots, the new Wrangler is a harmonious blend of iconic Jeep style and modern stylings with incredible tech. Take a look at what’s new for this old standby and then check out our current inventory to start shopping for your Jeep Wrangler today!

There is plenty of power still in this vehicle but now it’s matched by precision power in all the right places. The new Jeep Wrangler offers an exciting 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that earns an impressive 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. There’s an electric motor that sends torque promptly to the axle for added torque when you’re off-roading and keeps your ride smooth with the efficient start/stop engine tech. In addition to this thrilling conventional engine, there will soon be a 3.0-liter diesel V6 engine to match. The diesel cranks out an incredible 442 lb-ft of torque and 260 horsepower and can tow up to 3,500 lbs in all kinds of conditions – even in waters up to 30 inches deep!

From the driver’s seat of the 2018 Wrangler, you’ll be in command of a fresh new cockpit that’s spacious, comfortable, and intuitive. The redesigned center console boasts an available 8.4-inch color touchscreen to keep you connected and on track. The climate controls are minimalist without leaving anything out and the gauges provide all the info you need to stay the course at a quick glance. New to this interior is the pushbutton starter, leather heated seats with added lumbar support and new mesh storage pockets galore for when you open up the soft or hard top. The new and more aerodynamic windshield can now fold down with a four-bolt frame and you can even keep the rearview mirror in place thanks to a new header bar connecting the front pillars.

And for those planning to take the 2018 Jeep Wrangler off-roading as soon as possible, first, take a moment to fall in love with these new ratios. The Rubicon offers 33-inch all-terrain tires and features the legendary Rock-Trac 4×4 system, Dana 44 front and rear axles and a staggering 84:1 crawl ratio. That means you can tackle just about any obstacle on your track and crawl up steeper angles than ever before.
