Chrysler Pacifica Takes Home Top Spot in APEAL Study

By Justin Cupler | August 27th, 2018

Here at Garber Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, we already know how amazing the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica is. But not everyone else has figured this out just yet. Fortunately, we have the J.D. Power APEAL study to show everyone how awesome our latest minivan is.

The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica went head-to-head against four other minivans — Honda Odyssey, Toyota Sienna, Kia Sedona, and Dodge Grand Caravan — and it crushed them all. In four of the five key areas J.D. Power rated vehicles for this study – overall performance and design, performance, features and instrument panel, and style — the 2018 Pacifica received a perfect five-circle score. In comfort, it received a three-circle score.

Besides the Pacifica a few more vehicles you’ll find on our showroom floor performed well in the APEAL survey too. The Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 took home the No. 2 and 3 spots, respectively, in the large-car segment.

Besides our cars taking great strides, the FCA brand as a whole made big moves as Dodge and Jeep were among the most-improved brands, and Ram and Dodge were in the top-five mass-market brands.

So, what is the APEAL Study? Every year, J.D. Power surveys over 80,000 car buyers and lessees about how gratifying their purchase was in the first 90 days. J.D. Power then uses this information to choose the best vehicles in each class.
