Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Goes Dark With New Package
The S Appearance Package has been a hit on the standard Pacifica minivan but has never been available on its thriftier Pacifica Hybrid sibling. That ends with the 2019 Pacifica Hybrid, as Chrysler will move this popular package to this green people hauler.
The S Appearance Package will be available on the entire 2019 Pacifica Hybrid lineup and in all colors. On the outside, it will include gloss-black headlight eyebrows, daylight opening moldings, and rear valence moldings. The 18-inch wheels will come coated in Black Noise, as will the Chrysler wing badges and other identifying badges. The latter will, however, add a dose of color with their Hybrid Teal accents. Capping it all off will be a black roof rack.
Inside, the darkening will continue with black seats that feature Diesel Gray accents and an “S” logo. There will also be Light Diesel Gray contrast stitching and Piano Black accents on the steering wheel, while Light Diesel Gray stitching and Anodized Ice Cave bezels cover the door panels and door trim. All the remaining interior bits, including the overhead console, headliner, visors, cargo-lighting bezels, and more, will be black.
The 2019 Pacifica Hybrid with the S Appearance Package will carry all its other features over from the standard model. This means it will come with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine with two electric motors that combine to produce 260 horsepower. This thrifty powertrain will allow the Pacifica Hybrid to travel 33 miles on electricity only, which amounts to 84 mpg-e. In hybrid mode, the Pacifica Hybrid will get 32 mpg combined. This amounts to a 570-mile total range with a fully charged battery and a full tank of gas.
The S Appearance Package will be a $595 premium on top of the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica’s price. The S Appearance Package will be available for order in July and deliveries will happen in the fall.
